The 67th Annual Archuleta County Fair is underway and it’s “Barn To Be Wild” for all who attend… The whole community gets involved in this annual tradition. I get to take pictures. These are a few photos from Thursday’s Fair activities.
So much to take in all weekend long. Entertainment, livestock shows, Chuck Wagon BBQ, auction, kids rodeo, Wacky Science, horseshoe tournament, and so very much more. Don’t miss the fun.
The Exhibit Hall is full of amazing creations by all ages. Open class exhibits present fresh vegetables, preserved foods… quilts, art, scrapbooks… beer, wine and spirits… and the list goes on.
The Big Livestock Tent is full of all the animals these kids and their families have dedicated their 4H… “Head, Heart Hands, Health”. They learn a tremendous amount that goes way beyond the animals. This is when they present all their hard work to the community.
The Fair runs through Sunday, August 5. See you there!
